It is completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and for it to succeed only needs you to know what you want to change in your life.
BWRT® though represents a major event in psychotherapy and is rapidly growing in popularity
BWRT®working effectively with a great number of human problems and difficulties, including:

- Why we sometimes can’t stop ourselves doing things.
- Why we sometimes feel that we just cannot do something we would really like to.
- Why we so often limit ourselves from getting on with life.
- Why we sometimes give up on something without even trying properly to do it.
- Why we sometimes fear something when there’s no real reason to do so.
- Why some situations ‘trigger’ uncomfortable feelings, even though we have no idea why.
- Why therapy doesn’t always work as we want it to.
Terence Watts is from the UK and was in South Africa in 2015
Leonie was fortunate enough to do Level 2 training with Terence in Johannesburg and the BWRT Coaching program 2 years later
This is the interview Terence had with Expresso in Cape Town on his first visit to South Africa
Leonie is the first in Bloemfontein, Free State South Africa who has done this Advanced level 3 training with Terence

There is nothing else like BWRT. It is unique and inspired by the noble prize winner Benjamin Libet in 1983, that proved that we do not have a free will the way we think of it, which is precisely why we all encounter so many ‘’Why on earth did I do/say that’’? Or ‘’Why do I have to feel like this’’?Libet’s experiment showed that there is a measurable wait (more than 1/3 second!) between the moment the brain commences to act upon any stimulus and WE becoming aware of that action- in other words, by the time we know what we are doing, we are already doing it and it’s old news as far as the physical brain is concerned.
Even the decision to change your mind about what you are doing is made before conscious awareness of that decision. BWRT allows us the opportunity to work in that interval between the commencement of an action and conscious awareness: this allows us to negate destructive thought patterns so completely as if they were never there.
After a session, the client can no longer feel any negative response to the usual trigger for their presenting symptom, no matter how hard they try. The therapy is largely content-free, using the client’s own thought process to effect a release from the symptomatic patterns and using a strict protocol maximizes effectiveness and complete safety.
A Clinical Psychologist in South Africa Mr. Rafiq Lockhat (Terence Watts’) research partner, has used extensive testing on BWRT and is now the major therapy that he uses in his clinic.
The session’s dependent on the complexity of the issues.
